    The Brenta Riviera is a location with a long history, which Villa Ducale both illustrates and represents. The tradition of its fish dates back to long ago, indeed as far as the year 1500, when the Venetian nobles began to convert the swampland into terra ferma and put the hauls fished in the lagoon on their dinner tables. This lasted until the 1870s when on Sundays people from all over the north of Italy would meet in the Riviera to taste the fabulous dishes made with the latest catch. Today, the cuisine offered at Villa Ducale is a combination of the secrets of tradition and dynamic modern taste, skilfully weaved together to produce a wide range of delicious specialities.
